How do I update my own profile, and control what I get notified about?
Change your name, password or email from Account, then Profile. Two-factor sign-in, your active sessions and account deletion live under the Security tab there. Notifications live in their own screen with an optional push toggle.
Your own profile and your notifications are two separate places: Profile is where you manage your name, password, email and account security, and Notifications is a simple feed of things that have happened on your account.
Your profile
- Go to Account, then Profile.
- Your email and role are shown at the top, read only, your organization's administrator changes your role for you.
- Switch between the Profile, Password, Email and Security tabs to make a change.
On the Profile tab you can update your first and last name and your photo. On the Password tab, changing your password signs every other device you are signed into out immediately, the one you are using stays signed in. On the Email tab, changing your email sends a confirmation link to the new address first, your sign-in email does not actually change until you click it.
The Security tab
This is where two-factor sign-in, your active sessions, and connected sign-in accounts like Google live. From here you can also see every device currently signed into your account and sign any of them out individually, or all of them at once.
Also on this tab is Delete my account, which permanently removes your own sign-in and personal profile only, your organization, its contacts and its conversations with the rest of your team are unaffected. If you are the only administrator on the account, you will be asked to promote somebody else first, or to delete the whole organization instead from Where does my data live, and how do I get it deleted?
Your notifications
Open Notifications from your sidebar to see a feed of recent events on your account: things like a teammate being invited or removed, a role changing, a plan change, a phone number being set up, or contacts being imported. Opening the page marks everything on it as read.
If your browser and device support it, a Push on this device toggle appears at the top of the page. Turning it on lets Peakify notify you here even when the app itself is closed, and you can turn it off again at any time. On an iPhone you need to install Peakify CX to your home screen first before the toggle appears.

More in Your team
The other guides people read alongside this one.
- How do I invite someone to my team?
Send them an email invite with a role attached. They get seven days to accept, and you can resend or cancel it any time before then.
- What can an Administrator do that an Advisor cannot?
Administrators have full access including billing and removing people. Advisors handle conversations and contacts but cannot touch billing, settings or the team list.
- What happens when I run out of seats?
Every plan includes a certain number of people, shown at the top of your Team page. Once you hit it, inviting or accepting stops until you free a seat, buy an extra one, or upgrade.
- How do I remove someone who has left?
Remove them from your Team members page. It deletes their sign-in for good, frees their seat, and cannot be undone, though the conversations they handled stay in your inbox.
