How do I invite someone to my team?

Inviting someone sends them an email with a link to set their own password and join your account. You pick their role at the same time, and you can change it later without re-inviting them.

Send an invite

1. Go to Settings, then Team members.
2. Press Invite member.
3. Type their email address and pick a role, Administrator or Advisor.
4. Press Send invitation.

You will be asked to confirm with a two-factor code first if you have not already done so in this session. Adding someone to your account is treated as a security-sensitive change, the same as removing someone or changing a role. Once it goes through, they get an email naming your organization, who invited them and which role they were given, with a link good for seven days.

What happens on their end

If they are new to Peakify, the link takes them to a page where they choose a password and their name, then they land straight in your account. If they already have a Peakify account under a different organization, they instead sign in and join yours as an additional membership, keeping the sign-in they already had.

Resending and cancelling

• Resend an invitation that has gone to spam or that they lost. It gives them a fresh seven days from the moment you press it, using the same link.
• Cancel an invitation nobody has accepted yet. This frees up the seat straight away, see What happens when I run out of seats?

Inviting the same email address twice does not create a second invitation. It refreshes the one they already have, so a link they were already sent keeps working.

If the invite button is greyed out

You have reached your plan's seat limit. Cancelling an unaccepted invitation frees a seat immediately, or you can add an extra seat or move to a bigger plan, see What happens when I run out of seats? If you are on the free plan, which only includes one seat, inviting anyone requires upgrading first.
