What do the numbers on My performance mean?

Your own day's numbers next to a de-identified team average, so you can see how you're doing without anyone's individual numbers being exposed.

Open TMS, then the My performance tab, to see your own day's numbers, and how they compare with your team, without anyone's individual figures being shown to you.

The six numbers

  • Throughput. How many tasks you finished. This is the one number that's always a real figure, finishing nothing today is a real 0, not missing data.
  • First-pass yield. Of the tasks you touched, the share you finished rather than sent back.
  • Occupancy. Of the time you were signed in and not on Available, how much of it you actually spent working.
  • Utilization. Of your whole signed-in time, including Available, how much you spent working. This is stricter than occupancy, because Available time counts against it too.
  • Shrinkage. How much of your signed-in time went to break, lunch, training or a similar status, time off the active queue.
  • Turnaround. How long it typically takes you from claiming a task to finishing it, shown as a typical figure and a slower-than-usual one.

If a card shows a dash instead of a number, that means there was genuinely nothing to measure yet that day, not that the real answer is zero.

The team comparison

Below your own numbers, you'll see the same figures pooled across your team, with a line like "you are 3rd of 9" showing where you rank on throughput. Nobody is named, and this only appears once at least 3 people have worked that day, with fewer than that, showing a team total would give away one colleague's own numbers, so it's hidden with an explanation instead.

If it says it stopped counting

On an unusually busy day, you may see a note that Peakify stopped counting at a safety limit. When that happens, the numbers shown are a floor, the real total was at least that high, possibly higher.
