How do I see and work a customer's tasks in Team management?
There's no separate tab for browsing every task any more. Work your own ranked list from the Workspace tab, and see everything for one customer, in four lanes, on their own Tasks tab.
There's no separate screen for browsing every task in your organization any more. You see and work tasks in two places instead, depending on what you need.
Your own ranked work
Open TMS, then the Workspace tab. Your ranked list there is your own work, open a task to start it, see How do I assign myself a task from my workspace, and finish it?
One customer's tasks
The Tasks tab is on the customer's record in the middle of the Workspace. Open one of your tasks, or as an admin a row in the queue, then click Tasks. Clicking an item under Needs you opens the record straight on this tab, with that task highlighted. The customer's page in Contacts has no Tasks tab. It shows every task for that one customer, sorted into four lanes: Now, Waiting on client, Automated and Done. Click a task to open it and work it the same way you would from the Workspace, and a task the AI couldn't finish is marked "AI couldn't finish, needs a person" right there.
Add a task by hand
Most tasks are created automatically as a customer moves through your business's journey. For a one-off task, open the customer's Journey tab, click Edit journey, then Add a task. Give it a title, and if you like a note, a due date and a priority, then click Add task. It is added for that customer only.
For admins: finding what needs attention
On the admin Workspace's Pending tab, two extra chips sit beside the All / Leads / Qualified / Customers filter: Overdue, for a task past its own due date, and AI couldn't finish, for a task the AI handed to a person. Turn one on to narrow the list to just those.
Why journey tasks appear in a bunch
A journey customer's tasks for their current stage all appear together, the moment they reach that stage, so you and your teammates can work them side by side rather than waiting on each other. The next stage's tasks are not created until every task of the current one is done or skipped, so you will not see a customer's later steps ahead of time on this tab. A task you add by hand is different: it appears the moment you add it.

More in Team management: your day
The other guides people read alongside this one.
- How do I find my way around Team management?
Team management (TMS) is one screen with tabs. Click TMS in your sidebar, then pick the tab for what you need.
- What is on my Team management workspace, and how do I use it?
Your workspace is a screen split into four parts: your task list, the conversation with whoever you're helping, their record, and the controls for finishing or returning a task.
- How do I assign myself a task from my workspace, and finish it?
Open a task on your list and it's assigned to you, your timer starts and its conversation and record fill your screen. Finish it with a note, or give it to a teammate, your AI teammate or back to the queue.
- How do I clock my time in Team management?
You don't clock in or out by hand. Peakify times you automatically from the moment you open a task to the moment you complete or unassign it.
