How do I sign up, and what does the $1 trial actually cost?
Create an account in about two minutes, pay $1 to start a 7 day trial, and you are only charged the full plan price once you go live.
Signing up takes about two minutes. You create an account first, then pay $1 to start a 7 day trial. That $1 is the entire charge for the first week. Your plan price does not start until you go live, which is when you add a phone number, texting or calls.
Create your account
- Go to the sign up page and fill in your full name, email, phone number and a password. The password needs to be at least 8 characters.
- If you would rather not pick a password, use Continue with Google instead.
- Press Create my account.
We do not ask for your business name at this point. That comes later, after you have paid, so you are not filling in forms before you have seen anything work.
Verify your email
You are taken to a page asking for a 6-digit code we just emailed you. See Why do I need to enter a code, and what if it never arrives? for what to do if it does not show up.
Start the trial
- Once your email is verified, you land on a welcome screen. It shows $1 for 7 days as the deposit, and says plainly that you only pay properly once you go live.
- Press Start for $1. This takes you to Stripe to pay.
- Pay on the Stripe page. Your card is saved for later, the same card your plan will eventually bill.
- You are brought back to a short "Confirming your payment" screen while we finish setting up your account in the background, usually a few seconds, then you land in the product.
If you close the Stripe page without paying, nothing is charged and the welcome screen is still there waiting for you next time you visit.
What you get during the trial, and what waits for go-live
Web chat, your AI assistant and adding your own business knowledge all work right away, from the moment you pay the $1. Phone numbers, texting and calls become available once you go live, which means adding a phone number for $5 USD a month.
After the 7 days, your plan continues on the same card at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel any time before then from your billing page, and nothing more is charged once you do.
