I cannot sign in. What do I check?
Reset your password with a code we email you rather than guessing, and check whether a two-factor code or a short wait is what is actually stopping you.
You cannot get into your Peakify account. Work through these checks in order, most sign-in problems are one of the first two.
Check these first
- Reset your password instead of guessing it. Peakify deliberately does not tell you whether it was the email or the password that was wrong, so guessing again rarely helps. Click Forgot on the sign-in page, you are sent a code by email, the same kind of code used when you first signed up, see Why do I need to enter a code, and what if it never arrives? for what to do if the code itself does not arrive. Entering it correctly takes you to setting a new password. If your account has two-factor sign-in turned on, you first enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app, or one of your recovery codes if you no longer have it. If the new password page says "Session ended", too much time passed after you entered the code. Click Request a new code and start again.
- Try "Email me a sign-in code" instead of your password. If you are not sure of your password at all, this button on the sign-in page sends you a one-time code by email and gets you straight in, without you needing to remember or reset anything.
- If you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google. An account created that way has no separate Peakify password to get wrong, sign in the same way you signed up.
- Are you stuck on a two-factor code screen? If your account has two-factor sign-in turned on, you are asked for a 6-digit code from your authenticator app after your password, this is a separate step from your password. The screen shows which account is signing in. If that is not you, or not the account you meant, click Sign out on that screen and start again. If you have lost access to your authenticator app, use "Lost access? Use a recovery code" on that same screen instead, then re-add a fresh authenticator from Settings, then your profile, once you are back in.
- Did you try several times in a row? After five tries for the same email in 15 minutes, sign-in is deliberately paused to protect your account from anyone guessing at it. Every try counts, including a correct password, a "Forgot password" request and an "Email me a sign-in code" request. The message on the sign-in page tells you how many minutes to wait, for example "Too many sign-in tries. Try again in 10 minutes." This is not personal to you, wait that long and try again.
If sign-in itself is down
Occasionally you will see a message saying sign-in is temporarily unavailable rather than anything about your password, that means our sign-in service itself is having a moment, not your account specifically. Wait a minute and try again.
If none of this gets you in, open a private or incognito browser window and try once more there, in case something in your regular browser is interfering. Still stuck? Email support@peakifycx.com from a second email address if you have one, with your account's email address in the message, we reply within one business day, Monday to Friday.

The other guides people read alongside this one.
- Why is the chat box not showing on my website?
Almost always one thing: the snippet was never actually published live.
- Why is the AI not replying at all?
About half a dozen switches can quietly silence the AI on one conversation without anything looking broken. Check them in this order.
- The AI answered something wrong, or made something up. What do I do?
The real fix is almost always what the AI knows or how strictly it is told to stick to your services, not a bug to report.
- Why are my texts not arriving?
Check the reason shown on the message itself first, most causes are plain-language and self-explanatory once you see them.
