How do I end my day in Team management?

Switch your status back to Available (or whatever your organization uses to sign off) before you go. There's no separate clock-out button, your status is the record.

There's no separate "end shift" or sign-off button in Team management. Ending your day is simply switching your status, the same AUX pill you use all day, back to Available (or whatever status your organization uses to mean you're done).

Before you log off

  1. Finish or unassign any task still assigned to you, from your controls on the Workspace tab.
  2. Click your AUX pill in the top bar and pick Available.

That closes out whatever status you were in cleanly, so your time stops counting the moment you actually leave, rather than running on after you've gone.

If you forget

Peakify closes it for you. A Working status left running with no activity for a while gets ended and flagged for review, and you're set back to Available automatically. The same happens if a break, lunch or training session runs well past how long it's meant to. This isn't held against you by itself, but it does leave a flagged entry your manager can see, so it's better to switch properly if you can.

What happens if your shift ends while you still hold work

If your organization has set your working hours and your shift ends while you still have a task assigned, Peakify unassigns it back to the pool for you, and gives the customer's conversation back to the AI so nobody is left waiting on somebody who has gone home.

This is not counted against you. It is recorded as unavailable rather than as an unassign you chose, and it is kept out of your performance numbers, so it reads differently from unassigning a task yourself.

Stepping into Break, Lunch or Training does not do this. Only your shift ending does. Going to lunch stops new work reaching you, it does not take back what's already assigned to you.

If nobody has set your hours, there is no shift to end, so nothing is handed back and this never happens to you.

Check your day before you go

A quick look at My time and My performance is a good last step, so you can see your logged hours and how your day went before you sign off.
