How do I update my business name, logo, contact details or address?

Go to Settings, then General, update whatever's changed and press Save changes. Your logo, brand colour and contact details are what your customers see on the emails you send them. Only admins can save.

Your organization's name, logo and contact details live on the General tab of Settings. Update whichever ones need changing and press Save changes, everything saves together.

Update your details

  1. Go to Settings, then the General tab.
  2. Under Organization Identity, update your organization name, website, contact email or contact phone, whichever ones need changing.
  3. To change your logo, click Upload logo and pick an image, PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 1 MB. SVG files are not accepted. It replaces your current logo the moment it finishes uploading. If the upload is refused, the message tells you why. Click Remove to take your logo off again.
  4. Pick your Brand colour if you want one. Click the colour swatch and choose a colour, and the hex code appears next to it so you can check it against your brand. Click Use my chat widget colour to clear it again, which puts you back to whatever colour your website chat bubble already uses.
  5. Under Text me when a customer needs a person, type the mobile number we should text when your AI hands a customer to you. For new accounts it starts as the phone you signed up with. Clear it to get the email alert only. It has to be your own mobile, not your Peakify number.
  6. Scroll down to Business address if your mailing address needs updating, this is the address used on your invoices and for tax.
  7. Click Save changes. Your details update immediately, everyone on your team sees the new details the next time they load the page.

Fill your details from your website

If your website lists your phone number, address or opening hours, Peakify can read them for you.

  1. Make sure your website address is filled in and saved.
  2. Under the website address, click Fill from my website.
  3. Peakify reads your homepage and your contact page. Anything it finds that differs from the form is filled in and marked Found on your website.
  4. Check the marked fields, then click Save changes. Nothing is saved until you do, and Reset puts the form back. Your holidays and closures are never changed.

It first reads the business details your website publishes for search engines. Many sites do not publish them, so for anything still missing your AI reads the text of those two pages, header and footer included. That counts as one AI request. If neither finds anything, you will see "We couldn't find these on your website", and you can type the details in yourself.

Tell your AI about your business

Below your details, the About your business card holds what your AI assistant tells customers about you. Only organization admins see it.

  • Elevator pitch: one line about your business, used when someone asks what you do.
  • How you work: two or three sentences on what happens after someone books.
  • What makes you different: short points your AI uses when a customer asks how you compare. It never names a competitor.
  • Reviews and proof: a link to your reviews, a link to case studies, and up to ten testimonials.
  • Privacy policy link: where your AI points a customer who asks how you use their information.
  • Emergency contact: what your AI says when a message sounds like an emergency. You can see it here, but only Peakify CX staff can change it.

Click Save business details when you are done. This card saves on its own, separately from Save changes above.

What your customers see

Your logo, brand colour and contact details are not just for your own records. Every email we send to your customers on your behalf carries them: your logo at the top, your colour on the buttons, and your business name, address, phone, email and website at the bottom. That last part is the sender information the anti-spam rules require, and filling in your address here is what puts it there.

If you have not picked a brand colour, your emails use the colour your website chat bubble already uses, so an account that themed its chat gets matching emails with nothing extra to set up. If you have no logo, your business name appears at the top instead, and the email still looks tidy.

If Save changes stays greyed out

It's disabled until you actually change something, so nothing gets saved by accident. Once you edit any field it lights up. If you want to undo your edits before saving, click Reset, it puts every field back to what it was when you opened the page.

If you're not an admin

You can see every field on this tab even if you're not an organization admin, but they are locked, and the Save changes and Upload logo buttons are not shown. A note at the top says "Only an organization admin can change these. Ask your admin." Ask an admin on your team to make the change, or to give you the admin role.
