Where do I go to change something about my account or business?
Click Settings in the sidebar, it opens into a list of areas, click the one you need.
Settings lives behind the gear icon near the bottom of your sidebar. Click it and it opens into a list of areas, click the one you want and it opens right there, you never leave the page to switch between most of them.
Open Settings
- Click Settings in the sidebar. It opens into a list: General, Channels, Knowledge Base, Lead forms, Inbox, Team members, Integrations, and Security & data.
- Click the one you want. Six of these (General, Channels, Lead forms, Inbox, Integrations, and Security & data) open inside the same shared Settings page. Knowledge Base and Team members are different, each opens its own separate page instead.
What lives in each area
- General. Your organization's name, logo, contact details, address, timezone and business hours. If you're an admin, this is also where you claim a web address for your customer portal.
- Channels. Where you connect and manage the ways customers reach you, phone numbers, texting, website chat, WhatsApp, and your softphone.
- Knowledge Base. Opens on its own page. It's where you teach your AI about your business, not part of this shared Settings page.
- Lead forms. The forms on your own website that capture new contacts. Admins only.
- Inbox. Labels, canned responses, custom attributes, teams, and two authoring tools called Rules and Macros. Admins only, and it only shows up at all on accounts using Peakify's own inbox, see the note below.
- Team members. Opens on its own page. It's where you invite people and set their roles.
- Integrations. Ready-made add-ons you can turn on for your account. There aren't any live yet, the page says so plainly rather than showing an empty list.
- Security & data. Your audit log, and exporting or deleting your data. Admins only.
Why some of these might not show up for you
A few areas depend on your role or on how your account is set up:
- Inbox only shows up for organization admins, and only on accounts using Peakify's own inbox rather than the older, connected inbox. If you don't see it at all, you're most likely on the older inbox, an admin can confirm which one your account uses.
- Lead forms and Security & data are admin-only. A teammate who isn't an admin won't see either in the list.
- A few of the smaller areas inside Channels, like Email domain, only appear once your account has that particular feature turned on.
If a control you expect is missing or greyed out, it's almost always a role or account setup thing rather than something broken. Chat with us if you're not sure why something isn't showing up for you.
When an area has more than one part
Channels and Inbox each hold several smaller sections. Once you're inside one of them, a second row of tabs appears at the top of the page, for example Connections, Phone numbers and SMS inside Channels. Click any of those to switch between them without leaving the page. General, Lead forms and Integrations don't have this second row, there's only one thing inside each of them.

More in Settings and your account
The other guides people read alongside this one.
- How do I update my business name, logo, contact details or address?
Go to Settings, then General, update whatever's changed and press Save changes. Only admins can save.
- How do I set my timezone and business hours?
Set them on the General tab. Your AI assistant and your scheduling tools both use these to know when you're actually open.
- How do I give my customers a link to sign in and see their documents?
Claim a short web address under General. Depending on your plan, that address becomes the page your customers use to sign in.
- How do I add extra fields to a conversation, like an order number?
An admin defines the field once under Settings, then anyone in your inbox can fill it in on any conversation.
Did this not cover it?
Start a chat and the assistant will try first. If it cannot help, it hands you to a person.
