How do I set my timezone and business hours?

Set them on the General tab. Your AI assistant and your scheduling tools both use these to know when you're actually open.

Your timezone and business hours tell your AI assistant, and anything on your account that schedules around your hours, when you're actually open. If these are wrong, your AI can end up telling a customer you're closed when you're not, or the other way round.

Set your timezone

  1. Go to Settings, then the General tab, and scroll to Timezone & business hours.
  2. Pick your timezone from the list. The common Canadian and US timezones are listed directly, if yours isn't there, it was most likely already set correctly when your account was created and you can leave it as is.

Set your hours for each day

  1. In the same section, every day of the week has its own row.
  2. Tick Open for a day you're open, and untick it for a day you're closed. A closed day shows a plain "Closed" label instead of times.
  3. For an open day, set the start time and the end time.
  4. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page. Your new hours apply right away, both to what your AI tells customers and to anything else on your account that schedules around your hours.

Why this matters

Your AI assistant checks these hours before it tells a customer whether you're open. If it's giving the wrong answer about being open or closed, this is the first thing to check, the hours here are very likely just out of date.
