How do customers book weekly or fortnightly sessions?
Let customers book a run of sessions in one go, every week or every few weeks at the same time, see which dates are taken before they book, and change or cancel one session or the rest of the run.
Some work comes as a run of visits: weekly physio, fortnightly cleaning, a course of lessons. You can let customers book the whole run at once, one kind of appointment at a time. It is off for every kind until you switch it on.
Turn it on for a kind
- Open Calendar, then the Booking settings tab, and find the Kinds of appointment card.
- Press Edit on the kind, or add a new one, and open More options.
- Tick Can be booked as repeat sessions.
- Choose how often it Repeats, from every week to every 4 weeks.
- Type Up to how many sessions one customer can book at once, from 2 to 26.
- Press Save. The kind's row now says, for example, "repeats every 2 weeks, up to 10 sessions".
Untick the box and save to stop offering it. Runs already booked are not touched.
What your customer sees
After they pick the first time, the form asks How many sessions? Every session is at the same time of day as the first, even when the clocks change.
- They press Check these dates. The form lists every date in the run.
- A date that is already taken is struck through, with the line "These dates are taken and will not be booked." Nothing is booked for those dates.
- The button then says how many will be booked, for example Book 9 sessions.
If a date is taken or freed while they are choosing, nothing is booked and the form shows the new list with "Some dates changed while you were choosing. Check the list and book again." A date never disappears from a run without the customer seeing it first.
They get one confirmation email listing every booked date, each with its own change link, and the dates that were taken.
Changing one session
Each session has its own link in the confirmation email. Moving one session moves only that one; the rest of the run stays where it is.
Cancelling
From a session's link, the customer can choose Cancel this session or Cancel this and all later sessions. Earlier sessions always stay booked. Reminders for every cancelled session are stopped, and you are told in your notifications. If some sessions could not be cancelled, the customer is told how many, so a run is never left half cancelled without anyone knowing.
On your calendar
Each session is its own row on the Calendar, with "Session 2 of 10" under the time. Your "appointment booked" automations run once for the whole run, not once for every session.
What it does not do
Your AI books one session at a time. A customer who wants a run books it on your booking page.
Who can change this
Organization admins only, the same as the rest of the booking settings.

More in Settings and your account
The other guides people read alongside this one.
- Where do I go to change something about my account or business?
Click Settings in the sidebar, it opens into a list of areas, click the one you need.
- How do I update my business name, logo, contact details or address?
Go to Settings, then General, update whatever's changed and press Save changes. Your logo, brand colour and contact details are what your customers see on the emails you send them. Only admins can save.
- How do I set my timezone and business hours?
Set them on the General tab. Your AI assistant and your scheduling tools both use these to know when you're actually open.
- How do I give my customers a link to sign in and see their documents?
Claim a short web address under General. Depending on your plan, that address becomes the one page your customers use to ask for a link, either a sign-in link or a link to their own progress.
