Where do my lead form submissions go, and how do I get them back after clearing them?
Every submission becomes a contact and shows up on the form's Submissions page, with proof of what they agreed to. Cleared submissions and deleted forms sit in a 30-day bin before they are gone for good.
Every time somebody fills in one of your lead forms, their answers land on that form's Submissions page and, if they gave an email or phone number, a new contact is created for them automatically (or an existing one is matched, if they had already submitted before).
Find your submissions
- Go to Settings, then Lead forms, and click Submissions on the form you want, or click the submission count on the forms list.
- Submissions are shown newest first, one card per person, with every question and answer they gave.
- If they agreed to be contacted, the exact wording they saw and ticked is shown too, along with when they agreed, this is your evidence of consent, not just today's form wording.
- If a repeat visitor submits again, their answers are added to the contact you already had for them, with a note that they were matched to an existing contact rather than treated as a stranger.
Clear all submissions
- On the Submissions page, click "Clear all submissions".
- Type the form's name exactly to confirm, this is a deliberately heavier confirmation than most actions in Peakify, because it removes your record of what each person agreed to.
- Confirm. All of that form's submissions move to a bin for 30 days, after that they are deleted for good.
Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) generally expects you to keep a record of consent for three years after your relationship with that person ends, so if you might still need these, save a copy somewhere else first.
Put cleared submissions back
Within 30 days, a "Put back N cleared submissions" button appears on the same Submissions page. Click it and every submission in the bin for that form returns immediately.
Deleting and restoring a whole form
- A form that has never collected anything is deleted for good the moment you delete it.
- A form that has collected submissions cannot be deleted until you clear its submissions first, deleting it then sends the form itself to a bin too.
- Find a deleted form under "Recently deleted" on the Lead forms page and click "Put back" to restore it. Restoring the form does not automatically restore its submissions, that is still a separate step from the form's own Submissions page.
- Switching a form off instead of deleting it stops it collecting anything new while keeping everything it already has, with nothing to restore later.
Submissions that were refused
If a website that is not on your allowed list tries to use your form, the submission is turned away and never becomes a contact. If this is happening more than you expect, a "Submissions we turned away" panel appears on the form's own page (not the submissions list) showing which websites were refused and how many times, with a button to add a website you recognize straight from there.

More in Campaigns and leads
The other guides people read alongside this one.
- How do I send a text message to a group of customers at once?
Write a message, pick who gets it, and send it now or later. People with no phone number, who unsubscribed, or who never gave consent are left out automatically.
- How do I check if my broadcast text actually sent, or stop one that's still going out?
Open Recent broadcasts to see a per-recipient delivery report, and cancel a broadcast that is still queued or in progress before it reaches everyone.
- What happens when a customer texts STOP, and can I text them again?
Replying STOP unsubscribes them from your texts immediately, and only they can undo it by replying START. This applies per business, not across every Peakify customer.
- How do I put a form on my website to collect leads?
Build a form with your own questions, list the websites allowed to use it, then paste a snippet on your site. Every submission becomes a contact.
