How do emails to my clients get sent?

By default, emails to your clients go out from a shared Peakify address; connect your own domain any time to send from your business name instead.

Depending on your account, sending your own client emails, reminders, requests, and updates, may or may not be part of what you have turned on. Where it is, here is how it works.

By default, those emails go out from a shared Peakify sending address, so you can start right away without setting anything up. It is meant to cover your first emails while you decide whether to connect your own domain: your first 100 emails, or your first 30 days of sending, whichever comes first. After that point your emails keep sending, you are just past what the shared address is meant for, and connecting your own domain puts your business name on them instead.

Where to find this

Go to Settings, then Channels, then Email domain. Only organization administrators can see and change this.

Using the shared address

There is nothing to set up. If you have not connected your own domain, the page shows you how many of your first 100 shared-address emails you have used so far, and how many days of the 30-day window are left.

Connecting your own domain instead

See How do I send emails from my own business domain? for the steps. It is worth doing as soon as you are past the shared address, or any time you would rather your emails carry your own business name from day one.
