How do my Google Meet call notes end up in Peakify?
Install the Meet Companion Chrome extension and it captures the captions from a Google Meet call automatically, ready for you to attach to a customer afterward.
Meet Companion is a Chrome extension that listens to a Google Meet call's own captions while you are on it, and sends the transcript to Peakify the moment the call ends. Nothing is recorded as audio or video, only the text Google Meet's own captions produce. Once it lands, you pick which customer it belongs to.
Where it shows up
Every captured call appears on the Meetings page as its own row: a title, when it happened, who captured it, and whether it has been attached to a customer yet. Meetings still waiting to be attached are shown under the "Needs a customer" tab, which is the page's default view, so the ones needing your attention are what you see first. Switch to "All meetings" to see everything, including ones already attached.
Who can see this
Meetings is open to anyone with the admin or advisor role on your account. Attaching a meeting to a customer, or removing that link, is limited to admins, an advisor can see the list and add a transcript, but the attach/detach buttons are replaced with "Admins only" for them.
Summaries
Peakify generates a short AI summary of each captured meeting automatically. While that is still being worked on, the meeting shows "Summary in progress" instead of a preview. If a summary could not be generated at all, it shows "No summary was generated", the transcript itself is not affected either way.
