How do I add a meeting transcript that Meet Companion didn't capture?

Upload the transcript file Google Meet produced, or paste the text, and it is stored exactly like an extension capture, ready to attach to a customer.

If Meet Companion was not running for a call, or you talked to a customer somewhere other than Google Meet, you can still get the notes into Peakify by hand, and it works exactly like an automatic capture from there on: same summary, same "attach to a customer" step.

Add a transcript

  1. On the Meetings page, click "Add transcript".
  2. Upload the transcript file Google Meet gave you (a .txt or .vtt file, under 1 MB), or paste the text straight into the box instead.
  3. If you are pasting text rather than uploading a .vtt file, each line needs to start with who said it, for example "Dana: thanks for joining." so Peakify can tell the speakers apart.
  4. Give it a title if you want one, and say when the meeting started, this defaults to right now.
  5. Click Save transcript. It appears on the Meetings page exactly like a call Meet Companion captured, waiting for you to attach it to a customer.

A .vtt file carries its own timing for each line. Plain text does not, so its lines are kept in the order you pasted them, starting from the time you entered.
