How do I ask customers to rate their chat with us?
Turn on CSAT so visitors are automatically asked to rate the conversation once it ends.
CSAT, customer satisfaction, is a short rating prompt visitors see once a chat conversation ends, so you can see how customers feel about the support they got and track it over time. This is only available for website chat inboxes right now.
Turn it on
- Go to Settings, then Connections, and open your website chat inbox.
- Go to its CSAT tab.
- Check "Automatically ask visitors to rate their support experience".
- Click Update.
Visitors are asked to rate the conversation the moment it ends, from then on.
Turn it off
Uncheck the same box and click Update. Visitors stop being asked; past ratings you have already collected are not affected.
