How do I forward my support email to Peakify?

Add an email inbox, forward your support address to it, and see the moment it starts working.

An email inbox connects your business's support address, for example support@yourbusiness.com, to Peakify. Once mail is forwarding, emails to that address land in your Peakify inbox like any other conversation, and your replies go back to the sender.

Start the connection

  1. Go to Settings, then Connections, then Add inbox.
  2. Click Connect Email.
  3. Give the inbox a name and type the support address you want mail forwarded from. Click Continue.

Forward your mail

Peakify gives you a unique receiving address right away, with a Copy button next to it. Set your support address to forward to that receiving address, using whichever of these matches your mail provider:

  • Google Workspace or Gmail: open Settings, then See all settings, then Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Add the receiving address as a forwarding address, confirm the message Google sends to it, then turn forwarding on.
  • Microsoft 365 or Outlook: open Mail settings, then Forwarding. Turn on forwarding, paste in the receiving address, and save.
  • Any other provider: look for a Forwarding setting in your mailbox settings and add the receiving address there. If your provider only offers a mail rule instead of plain forwarding, a rule that forwards every message works the same way.

Some providers email a confirmation link to the receiving address before forwarding actually starts. That confirmation email arrives in your new Peakify inbox, not your usual mailbox, so open the inbox here to find and click it.

Confirm it worked

Send a test email to your support address from any other account. This screen checks for it on its own, no need to refresh: it says Waiting for your first email until one arrives, then switches to Connected once we have actually seen it come through. You do not have to stay on this screen for it, the inbox already works as soon as mail starts forwarding.

How your replies are sent

Until you connect your own sending domain, replies go out as your business name "via Peakify CX", with replies landing back at your support address. Once you connect and verify your own domain, replies switch to coming straight from your support address instead. See How do I send emails from my own business domain?

Check it any time

You do not need to redo setup to see this again. Open Settings, then Connections, then this inbox: its Settings tab always shows the address you are forwarding to, whether we have seen your first email arrive, and exactly how your replies are being sent right now.

If mail still isn't arriving

  • Check forwarding is actually turned on at your mail provider, not just saved as a draft setting.
  • Some providers pause forwarding until its confirmation link is clicked, see Forward your mail above.
  • Check you forwarded from the support address you typed here. A forward set up on a different address is never matched to this inbox.
  • Still nothing after a few minutes? Message us and we will take a look.
