Where do I see how much I have used this period?
Your Usage page shows SMS sent, voice minutes, conversations against your free monthly quota, team seats, and your monthly active contacts against your plan's allowance.
Usage counts gives you a live read on your current billing period: what you have used, and how it compares to what your plan includes. Everyone on your account can see this page, whether or not they can see billing.
What is on the Usage page
- Your plan name and billing period, at the top, so you know exactly what window the numbers below cover.
- Monthly active contacts, if your plan has an allowance for this, shown as a bar with how many you have used against how many are included, plus roughly how far through the billing period you are. Going over is calm on purpose, nothing stops working, the page just tells you plainly that you are over and roughly what the extra will add to your next invoice.
- SMS sent and Voice minutes, simple running counts for the period.
- Conversations, how many have started this period, with a line showing how many of your plan's free monthly conversations you have used, once that runs out, conversations keep flowing with no interruption, they are just billed from your wallet instead.
- Team seats, how many people are on your account against your plan's seat cap, see What happens when I run out of seats?
Getting the detailed breakdown
If you are an account administrator, a Detailed usage & charges card at the bottom of this page opens a second view with actual dollars: your credit balance and roughly how many days it will last at your current pace, plus SMS, voice and AI spend broken down by day, over a 7, 30 or 90 day window you choose. This second page is admin-only because it shows real amounts charged, everyone can see the counts above regardless of role.
If a card is missing
The monthly active contacts card only appears for plans that actually have a contact allowance, some plans are flat-priced with no such limit, so seeing no card there is expected, not an error. If the card fails to load because of a genuine problem, you will see a plain error message with a Try again button instead of the card simply vanishing.

More in Reports and usage
The other guides people read alongside this one.
- What do my reports actually show me?
Messages, response and conversion rates, AI containment, customer satisfaction, a daily activity chart, and how each channel is performing, over whatever date range you pick.
- What actually uses my credit, and what is included for free?
Texting, calling and conversations all keep working with no cap, they draw from two separate balances once your plan's free amount runs out: an AI balance that refills every period, and a wallet you top up yourself.
