How do I label conversations to keep them organized?

Add one or more labels to a conversation from its header, picking from your saved labels or typing a new one.

Labels are short tags you put on a conversation to help your team triage it at a glance, things like VIP, Billing, or Complaint.

Add a label to a conversation

  1. Open the conversation.
  2. Click Labels in the header.
  3. Pick from the suggestions shown, or type a new one and press enter.
  4. It appears on the conversation immediately, no separate save step.

To remove a label, open the same Labels menu and remove it the same way you added it.

Set up your saved labels

Saved labels are the ones that show up as quick suggestions in the picker above.

  1. Go to Settings, then Inbox, then Labels.
  2. Click Add label.
  3. Give it a name, an optional description so your team uses it the same way, and a color.
  4. Save. It is now available as a suggestion the next time anyone labels a conversation.

Deleting a saved label removes it from every conversation that used it, this cannot be undone.

A label I typed did not stick

Labels starting with "ai-" are reserved for Peakify's own automatic tagging and cannot be added by hand, you will see a message explaining this if you try.
