PeakifyBot
PeakifyBot reads public pages on a website so the site's own AI assistant can answer customer questions using them. It only visits a site after that site's owner has asked us to, from inside their Peakify account.
If you are seeing it in your logs and you did not ask for it, someone at your organisation very likely did. If nobody did, tell us and we will stop — the address is at the bottom of this page.

How to let it through
Most firewalls and security plugins let you allow a crawler by name. Add PeakifyBot to the allowed list. In Cloudflare that is a WAF rule; in Wordfence or Sucuri it is the whitelist; on cPanel hosts it is usually ModSecurity.
How to block it
Add this to your robots.txt and we will stop on the next visit:
User-agent: PeakifyBot
Disallow: /We check robots.txt before every run and honour it. Blocking us does not affect anything else about your site.
What it does not do
- It never signs in, and it never reads anything behind a login.
- It never submits a form, adds to a cart, or clicks a button.
- It skips PDFs, images, video and other binary files.
- It reads one page at a time, so it will not put load on your server.
