Putting the widget on your site

Copy your snippet, paste it on your website, and check that it is really live.

What you are adding

One line of code. It puts a chat bubble in the corner of your website. A visitor clicks it, the AI answers, and the conversation lands in your inbox.

It does not slow your site down. The code loads after your page has finished loading.

Find your snippet

Where the snippet lives depends on how your account is set up. Look for one of these two in Settings.

  • Website Widget. The snippet is on that page, under a Copy Code button.
  • Connections. Open your web chat entry, then find the Install snippet card and its Copy button.

Only account administrators can see the snippet. Your snippet already has your own website token in it, so copy yours rather than borrowing one from anywhere else.

Paste it on your website

It goes just before the closing body tag, on every page you want the bubble to appear on. Most website builders have one box that does this for the whole site.

  • WordPress: use a header and footer plugin, or your theme settings, and paste it into the footer box.
  • Wix: Settings, then Custom Code.
  • Squarespace: Settings, then Advanced, then Code Injection.
  • Shopify: Online Store, then Themes, then Edit code, and put it in the theme layout file.
  • Webflow: the gear icon on your project, then Custom Code.

Publish the change. A snippet sitting in a draft or a preview does nothing.

Check it is really live

We do not take your word for it, and neither should you. Open a page on your own live site once, in a normal browser window.

Then go back to the widget settings. It says Live once we have actually seen the widget load, and Not verified yet until then. That flag is set by the widget itself, so it is real evidence rather than a checkbox.

If the bubble does not appear

  • Check you published the site after pasting.
  • Check the page you opened is the live one, not a preview URL.
  • Check you pasted into the site-wide footer box and not a single page.
  • Turn off ad blockers and try again in a private window. Some blockers hide chat bubbles.
  • Still nothing? Send us the address of the page and we will look.

Before you send people to it

Add your knowledge base first. A bubble that answers "I will get someone to call you" to every question is worse than no bubble.

Then ask it three questions a real customer would ask, from your own phone, and read the answers as if you were them.
