Two roles, and that is it
- Administrator. Full access, including billing, phone numbers and settings.
- Advisor. Handles conversations. Cannot change billing or settings.
Give out Administrator sparingly. It is the role that can spend money and release phone numbers.
Seats
Your plan sets how many people can be on the account. The Team page shows how many you have used at the top.
An invitation you have sent but nobody has accepted still uses a seat. Cancel it and the seat comes back.
At the limit, the invite button is switched off and tells you why. Upgrading your plan raises it.
Send an invite
- Go to Settings, then Team members.
- Press Invite member.
- Put in their email and pick Administrator or Advisor.
- Press Send invitation.
You have to be an administrator with two-factor sign-in turned on. We ask you for a code first, because adding someone to an account is a security change.
What they get
They get an email saying you invited them, naming the role you picked, with a link. The link is good for 7 days.
If they are new, they set a password on the way in. If they already have an account with us, they simply join yours and keep the sign-in they already had.
Inviting the same address twice does not create a second invitation. It refreshes the one they already have, so a link they were sent still works.
Looking after the list
- Resend an invitation if it went to spam. It gives them another 7 days.
- Cancel an invitation nobody accepted. That frees the seat straight away.
- Change someone from Advisor to Administrator, or back, without re-inviting them.
- Remove someone who has left.
Removing someone
Removing a person deletes their sign-in for good. It is not a pause, and it cannot be undone from the app.
- You cannot remove yourself.
- You cannot remove the last administrator. Promote somebody else first, then remove.
- You need two-factor sign-in on to do it, same as inviting.
Conversations they handled stay in the inbox. It is the person who goes, not the history.
